Yemen Entry Visa Request
Entry visa requests to Yemen are currently on hold; entry visas are issued only for foreigners with Yemeni origins and for those working in international organizations, journalists and media delegates, and diplomats.
If you are a citizen of the following countries, you will need a visa to enter Yemen.

The General rules and regulations apply to visa issuance in addition to:
- Provide an invitation from the Immigration, Passport & Naturalization Authority of the Yemeni Ministry of Interior.
- Provide an invitation from the hosting entity directed to the Consular Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In case of a student visa, please specify the academic nature of education and its period from the hosting academic entity.
- If the applicant is a minor younger than 18 years, please provide consent of both parents in a notarized letter.
- Attach a letter of request stating the reasons of the visit and the address of residence in Yemen.
- Fill-in the application form thoroughly, otherwise it will be rejected.
- A recent colored passport photo with white background size (6x4) cm, and make sure:
→ Not to wear medical or sun glasses
→ Not to wear Hats of any shape or form - Provide a passport that has at least 6 months validity period
- Provide a medically-fit certificate of any infectious diseases
- The estimated period to process an application is 2 weeks, depending on the approval of official authorities in the Republic of Yemen.

Diplomatic Visas
- To request a diplomatic visa, a request letter is to be issued by the Dutch/Swedish/Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and addressed to the Protocol Department of the Yemeni Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The request letter shall indicate the following:
→ Purpose of the visit
→ Full itinerary of the visit program.
→ Address and phone number of the hosting entity in Yemen. - Fill-in the application form thoroughly
- A recent colored passport photo with white background size (6x4) cm, and make sure:
→ Not to wear medical or sun glasses.
→ Not to wear Hats of any shape or form. - Provide a passport that has at least 6 months validity period
- The estimated period to process an application is 2 weeks
- Diplomatic visas are issued free of charge.
